Robert Keyth's Biography

Robert Keyth has been in the music business for more than 30 years.  He grew up in Illinois and began his career in Chicago playing with many different show bands including The Buckinghams, Freda Payne, Dave Major and the Minors, and The Linda Merrill Show.  He later moved to Tampa,FL where he was in several successful bands such as the "Just Us Brothers Band" and "Robert Keyth and the Sand Band."  The Sand Band became so popular that he was convinced to move to Nashville, TN and seek out a recording contract.  There he became a successful songwriter, writing songs for many artists including B.J. Thomas and Stonewall Jackson.  He plays as many as nine instruments in one show including guitar, piano, tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone, flute, banjo, bass, fiddle, and percussion.  He has been called the "One Man Jam" because of his ability to be so diverse all by himself.
